When we play "Don't Eat Pete," everyone wins!
Lots of Cheerios get to be eaten.
I get to enjoy their uproarious laughter.
Even Lincoln, once he gets over his alarm at our loud shouts of
"DON'T EAT PETE!!!"
enjoys the game due to the fact that he gets fed a constant stream of Cheerios while we play.
Today we played while dinner was cooking.
I was slightly comforted by the fact that my children had just eaten a handful of Cheerios
when, as usual, they refused to eat their dinner.
Should I really expect very young children to eat rice & beans with apple salsa?
