Obsessively Clean

Talmage gets pretty distracted when I pull out the video camera because he always wants to watch the videos of him on it. So even though he wanted to be "all done" the whole time I was taking this movie, it does a pretty good job of showing how obsessive he is about being clean while he eats. I break his sandwich into pieces because then he doesn't peel the bread apart and just lick out the jam. One day he grabbed all the pieces of his sandwich off his plate and then wiped the plate entirely clean with the cloth!

  1. Oh my heck. I was dying watching this. I love how he cleaned all of the pieces of sandwich off with the cloth!

  2. WOW! I can't even find bibs big enough for Peter. This is absolutely hilarious!

  3. Have you tried these bibs from IKEA?

I have been meaning to pick some up for several months now but haven't made it up to IKEA. They are brilliant, and so cheap! Even though Talmage is crazy about being clean, he drips a lot on his clothes (especially when eating juicy things like watermelon) and I imagine these bibs are going to save me some laundry headaches!

  4. There are so many things I want to say about this video.

Like the fact that I watched this in the library and was dying of laughter only to look up and see some man staring at me through the leaves of some plant. I don't think he appreciated my muffled laughter. Perhaps I should show him this so he will understand.

Also, I wanted to second Breanne's comment. Cleaning his sandwich was probably my favorite part.

And finally, I wanted to ask if Talmage has been watching Napoleon Dynamite... He did appear to save some of his sandwich in his pocket...

  5. Okay- those bibs totally look awesome - why have I not discovered them before?! The irony of today is that right after we watched this video, I gave Peter spaghettios for lunch and opted for him to wear one of my aprons since tomato sauce from head to toe is not my favorite thing. :)

  7. Hahaha, you guys are so funny! Losaunne, that guy was staring at you through the leaves of a plant? Creeper! :) And yes, the whole sandwich stowing thing was a little odd, huh? I hadn't related it to Napolean Dynamite, but that made me laugh!
