As has been indicated in previous posts, Talmage spits up a lot. On Sunday I was doing my hair and Sam came into the bathroom proclaiming, "Talmage did a really good job." He then proceeded to explain that in one shot, Talmage had spit up on his shirt, tie, belt, pants, and shoes! He changed his shirt and tie and cleaned up the rest. Then, just as we were about to leave, I noticed that there was more spit up he had not seen before on the back of his legs and on down to his ankles! I don't know how Talmage even grows at least he now knows how to wipe himself off. If he spits up and we hand him the spit cloth, he will bring it to his face! :)

  1. It's all just a ploy to get you to teach him how to clean up early on so he can do the housework for you by the time he's two...

  2. p.s. Have you talked to your pediatrician about acid reflux? They have medicine for babies now that can heal his esophagus - both diminishing the symptoms and curing the problem. Not only will he spit up less, but he'l feel a whole lot better too. I know several mothers who have used it to great success.

  3. That's a great idea...his next appointment is on February 11 (his 4 month appointment on his 4 month birthday!), so I'll have to talk with the pediatrician then. And yes, we're starting Talmage on a program called "How to Train Your Baby to do the Housework in 90 Days." It's a roaring success! :)
