I spent the morning under the drill again.
The good news is, we're getting there!
Yesterday the boys had their first dentist's appointments.
They were totally fascinated by everything and loved their visit.
So much so, in fact, that they have said in just about every prayer since, "Thank Thee that we could go to the dentist!"
The dentist has gotten so much more high-tech since I was a kid.
With TVs in the ceiling, sunglasses to shield their eyes from the examination light, fancy low-radiation x-ray machines, a big prize cabinet, and an array of brand-new toothbrushes, the boys are counting down until we can go back.
Since they both made the cavity-free club, they won't be going back for another 6 months...Talmage is confused about why the cavity-free club doesn't meet for meetings, but he's content to wait his turn to go again.
Wesley, unfortunately, seems to have inherited my missing-tooth/peg-tooth problem on his upper laterals.
Since he heard the dentist talk about his missing tooth, he also asked Talmage to pray that we would be able to find his tooth.
If only it were that straightforward, bud!
I'm glad the dentist is their friend!
See his cute little missing tooth to the left of his front teeth?
