Christmas Breakfast Feast (Menu & Recipes)

I'm grateful I've had the chance to document some of my favorite Christmas traditions.
Tomorrow I'll be back to my regular blogging,
and to wrap things up I thought I'd share our Christmas breakfast feast menu for this year.

These overnight cinnamon sticky buns are very indulgent, so they're really only a once-a-year treat for us. But there is just something appealing about fresh cinnamon rolls on Christmas morning,
and, as I mentioned yesterday, something very unappealing about spending time in the kitchen on Christmas morning rather than enjoying the excitement of my little ones.

I love that the minimal prep work is done the night before, the rolls rise overnight, and are then ready to pop in the oven first thing in the morning.
Playing with new gifts to the scent of baking sticky buns sounds glorious.

I'm also planning on whipping up a batch of these nutrient-rich oil-free chocolate bran muffins a few days in advance. My kids go bonkers over these, and they freeze beautifully, so we often have some stored in the freezer. My grandma gave me some Christmas-themed silicone baking cups years ago, so we plan to enjoy these muffins in the form of Christmas trees, snowmen, and gingerbread men.

My kids' favorite breakfast is this nutritious peanut butter chocolate milkshake.
It only takes 5 minutes to throw together, and I'm pretty sure this will be making an appearance on Christmas morning, even though it's no stranger to our breakfast table--we have it multiple times per week.

Finally, I think I'll prep some fruit-kabobs on the night of Christmas Eve. With all the other treats floating around, I'm sure they won't be the star of the show. But a gal can hope, right?

Some more ideas:
Outrageous French Toast
Gingerbread Breakfast Bars (make the night before)
Nutrient-Packed Oatmeal Breakfast Cookies (make the night before)
Overnight Sausage and Egg Breakfast Casserole
Stuffed Brunch Rolls (make the night before and store in the fridge; reheat before serving)
