A few of the day-to-day images from the Brady household for you to enjoy...
Talmage has been more of a shower person since the time he was about 8 months old. So to make things easier, I usually just stand Wesley up in there with him and wash them both.
Talmage makes trains out of everything! I discovered this book train one day.
Talmage's dramatic cowlicks in the front and back of his hair are very stubborn--his hair usually just looks messy.
We've tried some new styles...
...but I have issues making it look decent.
Don't be deceived by his smile...he is not a fan of haircuts! He was bribed with an orange roll this time around. :)
This little man won't stay on his tummy for long--he almost always rolls over within a minute or so of being put down.
Lovin' my baby boy! I'm smitten...times three. :)
Here is Talmage's attempt at swaddling Wesley.
Talmage wanted to wear my slippers one morning.
He clearly thought it was hilarious.
Sam has been getting up at 4 am lately so that he can still work long days in his lab but get home by 7 pm and see the boys before they go to bed most days. We're so grateful for his sacrifice! It has made for many more moments like these:
We love having Daddy at home.
Every Monday I make homemade pizza for dinner. Some fun topping combinations we've had recently:
-sweet potatoes, kale, red onions, mozzarella
-parmesan alfredo sauce, spinach, broccoli, mozzarella cheese
-chicken, feta cheese, spinach, carmelized onions or sundried tomatoes
-black bean puree, tomatoes, corn, Mexican cheese, jalapenos, onions, cilantro
Yum! Here's Talmage helping me make the dough.
We struggle to get out the door to go anywhere, because Talmage immediately starts begging to bring countless toys. He insists that he's "sharing" with Wesley and piles them in his carseat all around him. You can't tell that well in this picture, but there was a grand total of 19 toys in with him. I had run upstairs to grab something and came back down to this!
All tuckered out before Church
Talmage loves watching home videos, including the ones we haven't put on DVD yet. He just sits and stares at the tiny screen on the camera.
Talmage still simply cannot leave Wesley alone. He is always grabbing him! Although sometimes it is exasperating (like when he goes up to Wesley's cradle and loudly declares, "Wesley's sleeping...Wesley's awake!" Hmm...go figure!) it is really sweet to see how much he loves him. We're still working on eliminating the "tough love," but he is doing better.
Loves his highchair! And today he gobbled up rice cereal (almost a cup and a half!) and some applesauce! Pictures to come later. :)
